Wind Weaver is delighted, excited and ecstatic to announce that our song, ‘Aerial Wanderer’ will be in the film Finding Aloha 2. The film is directed by Phil Waller and is being released in early 2010. The film focuses on world class surfers and has some fantastic film footage of the giant waves that surfers dare to challenge.

Writer and Director Philip Waller embarks on an adventure to the mecca of surfing, the North Shore of Oahu. After years landlocked and uninspired by life in Los Angeles, Philip calls an old friend (Dan Moore) who lives on the North Shore asking if he can stay with him for a few weeks and document the trip. The next day Philip is sitting on a plane flying to Hawaii. “Finding Aloha” tells the story of underground Big Wave surfer Dan Moore and his amazing group of friends, as they search for pure happiness, adrenaline, and the meaning of the Aloha Spirit. Finding Aloha 2 also tells the story of a world class surfer.

Come on out and hear Wind Weaver play.
Thursday, October 22 at Serious Coffee by the conference center in downtown Nanaimo
Time: 7: 00 - 8:45 PM

We will be adding some great music made on a propane tank!
Really - propane tanks can really sing beautifully.
This particular tank is called a MOYO drum. MOYO means
heart in Swahili. So this drum like a native american flute
is meant to be played from the heart.
