The internet and the amazing technology allows for some wonderful ways to share music and song. Here is a link in which Terry is playing a duet live on blog tv. The host, Rod Krug is playing a deep bass A fluteand Terry is playing a higher A flute. Rod is in Colorado Springs, Colorado and Terry is in Nanaimo on Vancouver Island in BC Canada. It worked really welll considering the distance these two places are apart.

Occasionally I venture out on my own to attend Native American Flute Festivals
and am very excited at the opportunity to play this year at this Festival.
Sponsored by the Washington Flute Circle it draws flute friends, collectors,
players, and performers from many places.
I believe I am one of the only Canadians to being playing this year
at the new breathe stage.
My performance times are:
Friday, August 15 at 3:30 PM
and Sunday, August 17 at 10:00 AM kicking off the performances for the day.
It is a fun and family oriented event offering you a great opportunity
to hear some of the worlds best flute players. Mary Youngblood, 2 time grammy
award winner will be there along with Gary Stroustos, Vince Chafin,
Bill Hoshal and Ancient Sounds.

Paul the other half of Wind Weaver, ( he’s the weaver and I am the wind in Wind Weaver will be merrily staying in Nanaimo.)
He and his better half, Catharine will be selling their beautiful puppets at markets throughout the weekend.
Check them out at www.givealittlegiggle.com So far we haven’t taught the puppets to play the flutes but they
do dance like little fiends to beautiful flute and guitar music.
On beautiful Vancouver Island you can hear the ethereal and haunting sounds of the Native American Flute weaving its way into and around the magical sounds of an acoustic guitar as Wind Weaver performs their unique blend of music.
Terry Mack, Native American Flute player and Paul Bezooyen, acoustic guitar player form this unique duo.A serendipitous opportunity to jam together resulted in an incredible synergy unfolding between the two unique writing and playing styles of both artists.
Terry’s music honors the traditional style of the Native American Flute beautifully, however her music also pushes beyond, delving into a wide range of genres including folk, celtic, medieval and Jazz. Terry has been inspired by Mary Youngblood, Mark Holland and Autumn’s Child, Scott August and R. Carlos Nakai. Terry travels to Native American Flute Festivals throughout North America and introduces the beautiful sound of Native American Flute music to everyone.
Paul is a veteran songwriter who throughout his career has written for television and other audio visual productions. He has released two solo CD’s. Paul’s guitar style and lyrics are heavily influenced by Joni Mitchell and Bruce Cockburn. With these and other talented artists as inspiration Paul has crafted a very personal style of his own.
This recent collaboration of musical exploration and experimentation between Terry and Paul has blossomed into the newly established duo “Wind Weaver”.
Wind Weaver has been working (well it’s more like playing) hard at completing our CD Wild Threads.
